The host was very friendly and gave us lots of helpful information about the cottage and the local area. We loved the walk across the field to the stream, it was really beautiful. We also appreciated the fact that there were lots of toys and equipment for young children, it made our stay even more enjoyable.
Some of the downstairs furniture, like the sofas and chairs, could be more comfortable to relax in. They were a bit dated and could use an upgrade.
